My second LightWave v9 wallpaper. I made this spaceship for a 3d battle in a german forum. I hope you like it. Rendertime was 5 minutes. :)

And i must say. I'm glad there's no air resistance in space. My curisoity got the better of me, a good piece i must add.

The Game.
It's made with a 3d application similiar to 3DS Max or Maya. I modelled the spaceship, create the materials and light, hit the "Render" button and after 5 minutes i got this picture. :)

The Game.
by "render" he means the program takes the information that he gives it and turns it into a picture, the process of turning the information into a photo is called rendering, the more objects, and shadows, textures and complexity there is, the longer it takes, this piece took 5 minutes. hows that? you see this isn't digitally painted or drawn like normal pictures, its made structurally using "building blocks" so to speak.
